Innovation Festival 2007

The theme of the Festival is “Let's Innovate... For a New Era". It aims at enhancing public awareness on Hong Kong's achievements in innovation, technology and design, as well as their importance for our future. Through nurturing the interests and talent of the younger generation in these areas, the Festival facilitates the development of Hong Kong into a regional hub of innovation and technology services.The Festival 07 features a wide range of activities for the whole community. China Hi-Tech Fair 2007

CHTF is an international hi-tech event approved by the State Council. It provides a platform for technology companies to showcase their technological achievements, exchange information and explore business opportunities. World Robot Olympiad 2007 – Hong Kong

World Robot Olympaid 2007 – Hong Kong (WRO – HK) will be held in mid September and early October. Robot lovers are welcomed to join the competition. The winning teams will represent Hong Kong to compete in the 4th World Robot Olympiad which will take place in November in Taipei, Taiwan.

FIRST Tech Challenge game 2007

Two alliances of red and blue will compete with each other on a 12’ x 12’ game field. Each team and its wireless robot would ally with other teams’ to form the alliance. The robots need to complete different assigned tasks, such as picking up a softball and sending it to different locations. Each team needs to ally with different teams in turn. Those teams of outstanding performance would be invited to Korea at October for the Asia District FIRST Tech Challenge game 2007.
