An " ITC Cum Hong Kong R&D Centres" Pavilion, showcasing the latest R&D achievements product design has been set up at Inno Design Tech Expo held at Hall 2 of HK Convention and Exhibition Centre from 12 to 14 December.

Organsied by HK Trade Development Council, IDT Expo is a world-class, renowned trading platform for business-focused technologies and design services. It is expected to attract 30,000 enterprises.

Other exhibitors includes design centres, design services companies, branding consultancies, inventors, technology solutions providers, science parks, R&D centres, laboratories, venture capitalists, multimedia software developers, intellectual property lawyers from Hong Kong, Mainland China and countries around the world.

Business of Design Week (BODW), organised by the Hong Kong Design Centre (HKDC), has commenced on 10 December. BODW is now the largest annual design event in Asia and one of the leading design events in the world. Uniquely focused on the intricate relationship between business and design, BODW provides an international platform for designers, experts and entrepreneurs to network and share ideas, and an essential introduction to design for students and the public.

The week-long programme (10-15 December) comprises various conferences, symposiums and forums covering a wide array of topics like design education, innovative technology, brand management, IP and HKDC's "Project 9707" on crossover collaborations between local designers and international brands.
