Organised by the Innovation and Technology Commission, the Innovation Expo 07 will be held from 14-18 September 2007 in Hall 1B&C of HKCEC. Aimed at promoting Hong Kong's innovation and technology culture, the Expo will feature the technology and design achievements in Hong Kong and Mainland, as well as the innovative brainchilds created by the younger generation. There will also be a series of fun-filled technology and design workshops, technology demonstrations, games, competitions, as well as seminars for members of the public. Admission is free for all activities.

Innovation and Technology Commission will jointly launch the Hong Kong Pavilion at the China Hi-Tech Fair (CHTF), scheduled for 12-17 October at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Centre again this year with the Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).

CHTF, an international hi-tech event endorsed by the State Council, provides a platform for technology companies to showcase their technological achievements, exchange information and explore business opportunities. Last year's CHTFattracted over 530,000 visitors, with most of them being corporate leaders, procurement professionals and technology experts.

The SCAN & RFID CHINA 2007 was successfully held on 19-21 June 2007 at Chinese Export Commodities Fairground, Guangzhou. Co-organized by Hong Kong R&D Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management Enabling Technologies (LSCM R&D Centre), Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC), Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks (HKSTP) and GS1 Hong Kong (GS1HK), a Hong Kong delegation was formed with more than 30 members participating in exhibition, conference as well as study tour concurrently held during the event.

With active involvement from team members, the event turned out to be an excellent opportunity for networking and business collaboration.
