The Ministry of Science and Technology of the PRC and the Commerce, Industry and Technology Bureau of the HKSAR jointly host an "Innovation and Technology Forum" on 21 May 2007 at the HKCEC, with the support of ITC and the China Science and Technology Exchange Center.

The Hon Henry Tang, the Financial Secretary, will be one of the officiating guests and Mr Luo Haocai, Vice-Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference National Committee, will give a keynote speech at the Forum.

Government officials, technology experts, academics and industrialists in the Mainland and Hong Kong, as well as renowned figures from Taiwan and Macao  will discuss issues relating to national innovation strategies and innovation system, technology exchanges,  as well as the technology trends and the application of innovative technologies by industries.
